A local group of vegetarian fast-food restaurants is going to be opening a location in one of the busiest parts of Boston, moving into a space where a couple of other dining spots had been of late.
According to an article from Eater Boston, Clover Food Lab is planning to open in the Back Bay, moving into the space on Boylston Street that had been home to Globe Bar & Cafe before it moved to the former Rattlesnake Bar & Grill a short distance east on Boylston early last year. In addition, as @barebonesyoga says in a tweet, this is also the space where a location of Minigrow had been until it closed approximately a month ago after being in business for a bit more than a year. (The Summer Street location of Minigrow in downtown Boston remains in operation.)
This will be the first brick-and-mortar location of Clover in the Back Bay, though as Eater says, they did have a food truck set up on Newbury Street until the summer of 2017.
If all goes as planned, the new location of Clover could be opening in the Back Bay this fall.
The address for the upcoming location of Clover Food Lab (and the former Minigrow) in the Back Bay is 565 Boylston Street Boston, MA, 02116. The website for all locations can be found at http://www.cloverfoodlab.com/
[November 13 update: The Tables section of The Boston Globe says that Clover hopes to open in the Back Bay on Friday, November 15.]
[November 26 update: According to a poster within the Friends of Boston's Hidden Restaurants Facebook group page, Clover has not yet opened its Back Bay location, but a sign out front indicates that it aims to open on December 10.]
[December 10 update: A press release confirms that Clover opens its Newbury Street location today.]

b.good to Open in Boston's Longwood Area
Last fall we reported that a small local chain of restaurants featuring "real" fast food was making plans to further expand through the Boston area, with one new shop coming to the Longwood medical area of the city. Now we have learned exactly where it will be--and when it plans to open.
According to a Twitter post from @BostonTweet, b.good is going to be opening at the Longwood Center at the corner of Brookline Avenue and Longwood Avenue, with the photo showing that it will be opening sometime this summer. This is one of two locations coming to Boston over the summer, with another one on the way to the city's Seaport District as well (it is not known which shop might open first at this point in time).
[September 14 update: Eater Boston states that the new b.good at the Longwood Center is now open.]
Other locations of b.good can currently be found in Boston's Financial District, Downtown Crossing, the Back Bay, Harvard Square in Cambridge, Bedford, Burlington, Dedham, Hingham, and Newton.
The address for this new dining spot in the Longwood medical area is: b.good, 354-364 Longwood Avenue (Longwood Center), Boston, MA, 02215. The website for the chain is at http://www.bgood.com/

b.good to Open in Newton; Waterfront and Longwood Medical Area Locations Also in the Works
A small local chain of restaurants that features "real" fast food continues to grow larger, with a new location getting ready to open west of Boston and two others possibly opening within the city itself.
The Boston Business Journal mentions that b.good is going to be opening a new shop on Needham Street in Newton and is also working on leases for locations along the South Boston Waterfront as well as somewhere in the Longwood Medical Area near the Brookline border. Once the Newton location opens--and assuming the two proposed Boston locations do--they will join a number of other shops in the area, including in Boston's Financial District, Downtown Crossing, the Back Bay (three), Harvard Square in Cambridge, Bedford, Burlington, Dedham, and Hingham.
[February 5, 2015 update: Eater Boston states that the Newton location of b.good is opening tomorrow, and its exact address is 71 Needham Street.]
The BBJ also says that the b.good chain has been shifting its focus from being seen mainly as a burger spot to one that offers a variety of healthy items (though burgers, fries, and shakes are still on the menu).
The website for the b.good chain is at: http://www.bgood.com/

Del Sur Is Opening in Burlington
A fast-food place that focuses on empanadas is on its way to a northern suburb of Boston.
The Daily Times Chronicle is reporting that Del Sur is going to be opening in Burlington, with the Cambridge Street spot being mainly a takeout place with seating for nine. The article says that fresh empanadas will be the focus here, though it is not yet know whether they will offer anything else on their menu. Del Sur was recently given the green light by the Burlington Planning Board, and it looks like the eatery could be opening in the fall, according to the Daily Times Chronicle.
[April 9, 2015 update: According to a poster on the Chowhound site, it looks like Del Sur may be opening during the week of April 22, and that it will be a small fast-food spot using fresh, natural, organic and locally-sourced ingredients. In addition, an earlier meeting minutes page within the Town of Burlington website indicates that it will be a Chilean restaurant.]
[May 21, 2015 update: A new post on Chowhound indicates that Del Sur is now open.]
The address for this new fast-food spot in Burlington is: Del Sur, 390 Cambridge Street, Burlington, MA, 01803.

b.good Closes Its Newbury Street Location in Boston's Back Bay; New Location Opening on Boylston Street
[Ed note: This article was updated on February 25 and April 15 to reflect new information given.]
A small local chain of restaurants that features "real" fast food (and tends to focus on burgers) has closed one of its Boston locations, though it appears to be more of a move than a closing.
One of our readers told us that b.good on Newbury Street in the Back Bay has closed, with the location being taken off their website and subsequent phone calls not going through. Its closure has been confirmed this morning, as a call placed to another location in Boston indicates that the Newbury Street shop is indeed no longer in operation.
[February 25 update: A commenter on this page, along with a poster on the b.good page, both say that a new location of b.good is planned for Boylston Street near the now-closed location on Newbury Street. As soon as we have more details, we will post another update here.]
[April 15 update: A Facebook post from a couple of weeks ago confirms that this is indeed a move, with a new b.good coming to Boylston Street possibly later this month or in early May, based on the info from the post. The new address will be 665 Boylston Street, which appears to be where New England Dental Center had been.]
[August 5 update: According to a new Facebook post from the chain, the new b.good on Boylston Street in the Back Bay is now open.]
Currently, Boston-area locations of b.good can be found on Summer Street in the city's Financial District, Washington Street in the downtown area, two others in the Back Bay, Harvard Square in Cambridge, Legacy Place in Dedham, the Burlington Marketplace in Burlington, Great Road in Bedford, and the Derby Street Shoppes in Hingham. The website for the b.good chain is at: http://www.bgood.com/
