A glatt kosher restaurant in Brookline is thinking of opening a second location, and its decision could be based on what its patrons think.
According to The Harvard Crimson, Rami's on Harvard Street in Coolidge Corner recently set up a Facebook poll that asks folks where a good location for a second restaurant might be. A check on the poll today indicates that Cambridge and Sharon are of particular interest to the dining spot's Facebook fans, and Rami's now has another poll asking which part of Cambridge might be best, so it is possible that Cambridge could be the main community that they are now looking at. (So far, Harvard Square is in first place, with Central Square being in second place.)
Rami's features mostly Middle Eastern fare, including such items as falafel, hummus, baba ganoush, borekas, and shawarma. Our sister site (Boston's Hidden Restaurants) has featured the restaurant as a little-known spot to go to for Kosher and Middle Eastern food, with the review being at this link:

The address for Rami's is: Rami's, 324 Harvard Street, Brookline, MA, 02446. The phone number is (617) 738-3577. And their Facebook page can be found at http://www.facebook.com/pages/Ramis-Boston-Glatt-Kosher-Middle-Eastern-Cuisine/39794754660

The Paramount in Boston's Beacon Hill Is Opening a Second Location in South Boston
A Beacon Hill restaurant that has been in business for nearly 75 years is getting ready to open a second location of its eatery, with this one being in South Boston.
According to the restaurant's website and Adam's Hospitality and Tourism Industry Blog, The Paramount is opening this coming Monday (December 12) on East Broadway in Southie, about a block west of the L Street intersection. The Paramount first opened on Charles Street in Beacon Hill in 1937 and has become an institution of sorts, attracting both locals and visitors to Boston. The restaurant offers classic breakfast and lunch dishes and becomes slightly more upscale in the evening, featuring a mix of New American and traditional American dinners.

Tasty Burger May Be Coming to Davis Square in Somerville
Less than a month after reporting that a burger restaurant in the Fenway section of Boston was planning to expand, it now appears that one of the locations may be in one of the busiest sections of Somerville.
According to the Boston Magazine Chowder blog, Tasty Burger is going to be coming to Davis Square, joining the original location on Boylston Street near Fenway Park. The article mentions that unlike the Fenway location, the new Tasty Burger in Somerville will have a full bar, with a cocktail menu apparently in the works. It looks like the menu at the new spot will be the same as that of the original, which includes burgers, hot dogs, sandwiches, fries, onion rings, milkshakes, and slushies.
No address has been given for the upcoming Tasty Burger in Somerville, and there does not appear to be an opening date as of yet, so keep checking back for updates.
